The concert Saturday night at PPG Paints Arena by the Grammy-winning duo The Chainsmokers was a crowd pleaser, according to a review by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Drew Taggert and Alex Paul got high marks for their singing, special effects and skits. Their spelling is another matter.
As the duo began its encore before a sold-out crowd, a huge sign came down that read “Thank You Pittsburg.”
As the audience moved out of the arena, the twitter storm moved in. The band took it all in stride.
