It was a case of life imitating art Saturday at Heinz Field when two actors, who portray diehard Steelers fans on TV, came to Pittsburgh to announce the team's fourth-round draft pick on national TV.

Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia, play Rebecca and Jack Pearson on the NBC show “This is Us.” The show is particularly popular in the Pittsburgh area because many of its flashbacks are set in the city and Rebecca and Jack are card-carrying members of  Steelers nation.  Moore was born in New Hampshire and Ventimiglia is a California native, but both appear to embrace their characters' love of Pittsburgh.

“It’s a palpable excitement and affection from this city,” Ventimiglia  told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “We feel an embrace from Pittsburgh, and we feel like we have to embrace the city back. It’s a really unique, awesome feeling that goes both ways.”
