Spring Fling

Add some warmth to your table with these nature-inspired plates and bowls from artist Lisa Neimeth.

Pittsburgh’s weather is never predictable, especially at this time of year. Spring around here could include sunshine one day and snow flurries and gray skies — mixed with some rain because why not? — the next.

But with March ending, the warmer weather is inevitable, at least we hope.

To celebrate the beauty of spring (and the upcoming arrival of flip-flop weather), we suggest adding some nature-inspired pieces by artist Lisa Neimeth to your table.

The hand-formed bowls [$50], platters [$95] and small plates [$42] are created from California clay and fired using low- and high-glaze finishes. Vintage and found-object imagery is impressed into the clay, along with hand-etched detailing.

The tableware is perfect for dining al fresco with your family on the patio in the coming months. After such a long winter, you deserve it.
