‘Spread The Love’ Downtown This February
The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership has launched a unique Valentine-themed campaign that offers a big incentive to stay at a Downtown hotel while supporting restaurants and retailers.
For a limited time, folks considering a romantic Valentine getaway, a break from the monotony of staying home, or just a change of scenery for a night or two will receive $100 in restaurant and retail vouchers just for booking a stay at a Downtown Hotel in the month of February.
Running through the 28th, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership’s Spread The Love campaign seeks to support those businesses impacted by Covid19 via a Downtown hotel incentive, with restaurants and retailers receiving some much needed TLC through the additional income. 14 hotels, 30 restaurants and 24 retailers are participating, presenting a wide array of food and fare to supplement that romantic getaway plan, or ‘treat yourself’ excursion.
“$100 in vouchers to spend when you book a hotel stay in Downtown Pittsburgh provides the community a great new way to enjoy and support the amazing restaurants, for dine-in or pick-up, and an opportunity to shop and show love to our retailers – and every dollar goes right back to these businesses that have been so challenged by Covid19,” said Jeremy Waldrup, President and CEO of the PDP. “If you’re looking to escape your usual routine or want a romantic surprise for your significant other, now is a great time to experience all that this great city has to offer!”
Information, including a listing of the hotels, restaurants and retailers participating in the campaign are available online at: DowntownPittsburgh.com/SpreadTheLovePGH.
The Spread The Love offer will remain available until February 28th and vouchers can be used on matched purchases at participating restaurants and retailers Downtown until March 7th
