Soft Surroundings Opens Location at Ross Park Mall
This is the first Pittsburgh location for the luxury lifestyle brand, which sells home goods, beauty items and apparel for women.

The women’s luxury lifestyle brand, which sells apparel, beauty and home items, on Friday opened a location at the Ross Park Mall in Ross Township. This is the St. Louis-based company’s first store in Pittsburgh and its third in Pennsylvania.
As the name implies, the brand is best known for its extremely soft fabrics and globally inspired products. The company designs most of its clothing and home goods, which include furniture and bedding.
“Our brand is all about slowing down life’s rigorous pace and taking the time to rejuvenate and take care of one’s self,” says Danny Boddy, senior vice president of retail. “We feel strongly that this is something that the women throughout the Pittsburgh area can relate to and we are excited to give them an opportunity to experience what we are all about."
Situated on the mall’s upper level next to the J. Crew store, the Ross Park location is the 55th store for Soft Surroundings and is one of sixteen new stores planned for 2017, the company’s largest expansion year to date. Soft Surroundings released its first catalog in 1999 and opened its first retail store in 2005.
