June 16, 2012
Sandra and Greg Stepanik; Karen Lyons
Father Michael Stumpf united Brian and his bride at Saint Mary of the Mount (403 Grandview Ave., Mt. Washington; 412/381-0212, smomp.org).
The team at Herman J. Heyl (800/247-6100, hermanjheyl.com) used a selection of white roses and hydrangeas for bouquets and centerpieces, adding a touch of soft purple.
From posed to personal, Michael Leonardi (412/496-9761, candidly-yours.com) took many pictures.
ON THE BRIDE
Shelly looked stunning in a strapless gown with a beaded sweetheart top, dropped waist and ruffled skirt (Bridal Beginning: 450 Cochran Road, Mt. Lebanon; 412/343-6677, bridalbeginning.com).
ON THE GROOM
The groom and groomsmen were outfitted in traditional black tuxes from Liberty Formals (3104 Banksville Road, Dormont; 412/561-2202, libertyformals.com).
Photos taken on the golf green showcased the perfectly picturesque backdrop at the reception venue, South Hills Country Club (4305 Brownsville Road, Whitehall; 412/885-4402, southhillscc.org). The club's chefs prepared prime rib, eggplant parmesan and asiago chicken.
Bethel Bakery (5200 Brightwood Road, Bethel Park; 412/835-6658, bethelbakery.com) worked through multiple mock-ups of a cake design to find one that resembled the ruffles on Shelly’s dress.
The reception was joyful, with music provided by DJ Ray (Entourage DJ/Karaoke/Sound; 724/438-2234, entouragedj.com).
