Searching for a gift? I Made It! Mine Craft Market Returns in Time for Valentine’s Day

The pop-up marketplace features handcrafted items from 100 local artisans.

Love is in the air — and it could be for these adorable handcrafted products.

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I Made It! Mine craft market is returning to The Block Northway in Ross from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 for some V-Day gift inspiration.The family-friendly market features 2D art, children’s clothing and toys, jewelry, gifts and homeware from more than 100 local artisans.

Jamie Pavlot, Block Northway’s director of experience, says in a statement that the pop-up market will give the community a chance to explore work from Pittsburgh’s best local makers.

“This family-friendly, one-day pop-up marketplace offers a diverse mix of high-quality creations and is a February tradition for our community and guests to browse, shop and enjoy,” she says. 

The market will take place in Block Northway’s South Corridor, located between Land’s End and DSW. Vendors such as Wigle Whiskey will also offer Valentine’s Day-themed signature cocktails, including a Cherry Old Fashioned, Cherry Cider Pours and Boyd & Blair’s vodka cocktails.

Some of the artists featured at this year’s market include Nedalgyro, Vibo’s Italian Bakery, Pip & Lola’s Everything Homemade, Rustic Juls, Huckle Bee Farms, Baked True North, JP & Son Woodcraft, Ultra Matcha, C.S. Artistic Designs and Square Scents LLC.
