Save It For a Rainy Day
If April showers brought boots as cute as these, we wouldn’t mind the wet weather so much!
It's April in Pittsburgh, and you know what that means — rain, rain and more rain (go away!).
But gray skies don’t mean having to sacrifice your personal style, which is why we love these cheerful Hunter rain boots ($148) in a bright sunshiny yellow.
Taking a creative spin on the wet weather, Brianne Conley — who co-owns Number 14 boutique in Lawrenceville with her mother, Michelle Conley — stuffed her personal Hunter rain boots (pictured) with an array of spring flowers. Because, you know what April showers bring, right?
Conley — who opened her boutique on Oct. 14, 2014 — turned her boots into a piece of art, but if you’re more interested in using the wellies for practical matters, head to Nordstrom at the Ross Park Mall or Littles of Pittsburgh in Squirrel Hill. Both retailers carry the United Kingdom-based brand in a variety of colors and styles.
