Rare Video: How Pittsburgh Was Promoted in 1928

This short film was shot as a tourism video by a company in the Netherlands.


The Dutch were clearly onto something. Back in 1928, the Loet C. Barnstijn Company produced this short film promoting Pittsburgh as a tourist destination. 

The film noted that Pittsburgh had more bridges than any other city in America, and notwithstanding narrow streets and great traffic, the traffic police had the matter well in hand.
