Q&A with Sidney Crosby

Seven questions for the savior of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Favorite way to pass time on long flights: A group of us have been playing this military videogame called SOCOM for the PSP for like four years now.

Favorite pre-game meal: Spaghetti. Been that way since youth hockey. Quick, easy, gets the job done.

Did you ever want to be a regular guy for a day? Actually, no. My goal has always been to be the best I can be. There are responsibilities that come with that, but I get to do what I love every single day.

The Penguins will win the Cup this season because … Trust. We believe in one another.

Music that pumps you up before a game: When I was a kid, it was the standard AC/DC and Metallica. But now, I let the other guys handle that—so whatever Johnny [goalie Brent Johnson] puts on. He’s our No. 1 DJ.

Did you ever get in trouble with hotel security? As a kid, all the time. We would be playing hall hockey with the mini sticks all night, and they’d ask us to quiet down.

Game that’s circled on your calendar: The Winter Classic. Playing hockey outside brings hockey back to its purest form. I can’t wait.
