Pittsburgh Music Venue to Reopen with Spirit Merch Market
The outdoor event will feature local vendors, pizza and live music.
After being closed for events the past year, Spirit in Lawrenceville will reopen with Spirit Merch Market on Sunday, April 11.
“It’s been almost a year since COVID hit and the shows and parties came to a halt, and we’ve been itching to do something that could be a fun and safe way to bring the live music community together,” Spirit writes on its website.
The free, outdoor event will occur from noon to 5 p.m. and will feature music by DJ Femi, J. Malls and Paula from Spirit’s monthly dance party, Taste. Spirit will sell wood-fire pizza, Deep Eddy’s Vodka and a variety of craft cocktails. Social distancing and masks are required.
There also will be plenty of local vendors, including Crafted Sounds, Commonwealth Press, Phat Man Dee, Arie Cole, Steel City Death Club, Derider and Pandemic Pete. Vendors may apply for a spot by emailing Info@SpiritPGH.com.
