Pittsburgh Area’s Chris Jamison Advances Again on ‘The Voice’

Jamison is one of eight singers moving on to the next round.

Fans downloading on iTunes and voting online propelled Ross Township native Chris Jamison into the next round of NBC’s “The Voice.”

Jamison, a 2012 graduate of North Hills High School, performed Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” Monday night.

In the next succeeding rounds, two more contestants will be eliminated each week.

The eventual winner will receive a recording contract. Jamison took the semester off from Capital University, near Columbus, Ohio, where he is a marketing major, in order to compete.
