Pittsburgh-Area Teen's Run on 'The Voice' Ends
Monday night’s performance of a Rolling Stones classic wasn’t enough to earn Mia Zanotti a place in the show’s top 10.
Kiski Area High School sophomore Mia Zanotti, who goes by the stage name Mia Z, did not garner enough votes to continue as a contestant on NBC’s "The Voice."
She performed the Rolling Stones 1978 hit “Miss You” live Monday night. Zanotti, along with singer Brian Johnson, learned in the closing moments of Tuesday night’s show that their time was up.
Extremely happy for the Top 10!! You are all so talented and I am so blessed to have shared this journey with you. ❤️❤️❤️ xoxo

Zanotti is the second consecutive contestant from western Pennsylvania to appear on “The Voice.” Ross Township native Chris Jamison finished third last season.
