Laura Fauble didn’t plan on having robes for her bridesmaids to wear while getting ready for her May 20 wedding to Justin Rausch — until one of her attendants found the irresistible Etsy shop Joyful Tidings Bridal. The bridesmaids purchased purple waffle-print robes with their initials monogrammed in white and a white robe for Laura with her new initials monogrammed in purple. Laura also got a robe for her mother and Justin’s mother; they all got their hair and makeup done together and Laura wanted them to be a part of the experience. Laura says that she still wears her robe every morning while getting ready, and it is a nice reminder of her wedding day. “One of the things about my bridesmaids is that I know them from different chapters of my life,” Lauren says. “Having the monogrammed robes brought everyone together.”

Caitlin McManus’ July 22 wedding to Bill Brunner had a purple wildflower theme. She wanted that to show through every element of the day, so she found bridesmaids’ robes on The Knot Shop that matched their purple floral bridesmaids’ dresses. For her own attire, she says she wanted something that would make her feel glamorous, so she chose a white robe with bell sleeves from BHLDN. “It was fun getting ready and having everybody match,” Caitlin says. “It adds a little something special to the day.”
