Oh, Baby! Organic Crib Bedding Made in Pittsburgh

Inspired by her three young children, Duquesne grad Jennifer Cicci launched the stylish — and eco-friendly — Babee Talk line in 2014.

Because only the best for baby will do, Pittsburgh-based mom Jennifer Cicci in 2014 launched Babee Talk, a line of organic cotton baby bedding, crib rail covers and eco-friendly plush toys.

With its mod designs, this Babee bedding set [$189.99] will add a stylish note to your little one’s room, and an even softer touch to his or her skin.

Babee Talk ensures each product goes through rigorous safety checks and meets the highest levels of Oeko-Tex certification to ensure it contains no potentially harmful ingredients.

A graduate from Duquesne University who majored in finance and investment management, Cicci later obtained a degree in fashion merchandising management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Inspiration for Babee Talk struck after she married her high school sweetheart and moved back to the Pittsburgh area to raise a family, which today includes three young boys.

After discovering marks left by her teething children on their cribs — and finding other products lacking in quality or style — Cicci says she decided to design her own teething rail cover.

Once she learned more about the chemicals used in the production of synthetic materials, she also committed to using non-toxic, safety-conscious materials to create her products.

Today, Cicci operates Babee Talk out of her home office in Cranberry, where her sons act as “Head of Motivation,” “Head of Product Testing” and, of course, “Head of Drooling,” respectively.
