At The Farmer’s Daughter, owner Lauren Work Phillips offers an array that includes roses, lisianthus, double tulips and ranunculus arranged in a heart-strewn vase ($60).  

To accompany the bouquet, the Love Potion package ($70) from the same North Side shop is a classic way to say “I love you.”  It contains a sweet elixir — in this case the “Love” eau de parfum from the Spitfire Girl’s Potion Collection.

Combined with a Vintage Peony vegetable wax candle and Gardenia Blossoms sparkling bath tablets, both by Formulary 55, it’s an intoxicating brew indeed.
