The ceremony was held at Epiphany Catholic Church (1018 Centre Ave., uptown; 412/471-0257, epiphanychurch.net); a friend of the couple’s, the Rev. Edward Stafford from UPMC Mercy Hospital, officiated.
FLOWERS
Bridesmaids carried bouquets in a festive fall palette of reds, oranges and greens. The bride’s bouquet by Christina Mayo (Bella Floral Shoppe at Shop N Save; 412/914-0673) was constructed of classic white roses with green berry accents.

ON THE BRIDE

ON THE GROOM
The classic black-and-white tux Sam sported came from Men’s Wearhouse (multiple locations; 800/776-7848, menswearhouse.com).
RECEPTION
Nicky and Sam celebrated their union at The Pennsylvanian (1100 Liberty Ave., downtown; 412/391-6730, thepennsylvanian.com), where Sam lived for several years while they were dating. Starting with nothing but a blank space, a number of vendors helped the newlyweds make the space special, with lighting by ADS Lighting and Staging (412/341-3605), linens (Lendable Linens; 724/325-5555, lendablelinens.com) and table rentals (All Occasion Party Rentals; 412/471-2100).
CAKE & CATERING
For more than 200 guests, caterer Rania Harris (100 Central Square, Mount Lebanon; 412/531-2222, rania.com) cooked up another one of her fantastic menus with hot hors d’oeuvres and a cheese table. She also made the cake. Mike Gonze (Palate Partners; 412/391-8502) supplied the liquor for this top-shelf party.
MUSIC
Doug Marshall from Jeremy Ganss Productions (814/221-2213, jeremyganss.com) provided music to keep guests on their feet during Nicky and Sam’s reception.
