#OpeningSoon: New Restaurant to Replace Station Street Hot Dogs
The owner of Sidelines Bar and Grill in Millvale and Sidelines Beer House in Sewickley is expanding into East Liberty with plans to open The Fire Side Pub at the site of the former Station Street Hot Dogs on Broad Street. Kevin Sousa closed the gourmet hot-dog shop in November of last year.
Robert Miller is teaming with Jessica Martin Adams, whose renovation plans include placing the kitchen directly in the middle of the dining room.
“I want to encourage our chef to interact with our guests throughout their time in our restaurant whether that be to discuss the food, their experience, stuff going on in the area or whatever, it will foster a unique relationship not found in most restaurants,” Miller explained in a statement.
The menu will center around sandwiches and burgers in addition to other offerings including appetizers, salads, wings and a few select entree options with an emphasis on locally sourced products. Miller and Adams are seeking to liquor license to serve craft beer, wine, and spirits.
They hope to open sometime this summer.
