Liven Up Your Living Room with a Graphic Throw
Available at The Shop in East Liberty, the cozy Happy Habitat blanket doubles as a work of art.
Sometimes, giving your living room a new look is as simple as switching out your couch pillows or, in this case, your blankets.
Sold at The Shop in East Liberty, the black-and-white pyramids blanket [$160] by Happy Habitat brings a bold look to your living room when you add it to the back of the sofa. Or, throw it across your bed to give your sleeping space some zing. Boom! You just changed your habitat. We bet you’re feeling a lot happier, too.
Designed by Karrie Kaneda, each eco-friendly blanket — which come in a variety of graphic designs — is hand patterned before being sewn by a crew of artisans.
Like all Kaneda’s throws, the pyramid blanket is made from 80 percent recycled cotton and measures a generous 50 by 60 inches. That’s big enough for two adults, or a mom and her kiddos, to snuggle up in, especially as the nights grow colder.
