La Roche College to Host Design Event for High School Students
Meet Design is an all-day event that includes a hands-on design project.

High school juniors and seniors interested in graphic and interior design are invited to attend Meet Design, an all-day event at La Roche College in the North Hills.
From 8 a.m to 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 20, students will be given the opportunity to explore creative career options available and will test their skills by participating in a design project.
“Participants will collaborate in our design studios with like-minded high school and college students to flex their creative muscles in an immersive design thinking project,” says Lisa Kamphaus, chair of the La Roche Design Division.
After completing their projects, students will hear accounts from alumni of La Roche’s design programs.
One parent or guardian per student is invited to attend. While the students are working on their projects, parents will be offered an alternative schedule that will include sessions about the admissions process, student life, financial aid and other topics.
The event also includes an optional, shortened morning tour of campus, a continental breakfast and lunch. Registration is required, and those interested should register by Feb. 12.
