Jessica and Joseph were joined in marriage by Pastor David Gleason at First Lutheran Church (615 Grant Street, Pittsburgh; 412/471-8125; flcpittsburgh.org). Alicia Sutton, a friend of the bride, was a soloist.
The bride carried a simple bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas gathered with a satin ribbon by Gerard Boeh Flowers, Inc. (20555 Route 19, Cranberry Township; 724/779-3900; gerardboehflowerspa.com). On the Bride:
Jessica’s wedding ensemble included a Swarovski crystal-embellished ball gown by Justin Alexander and a matching waist-length veil, both purchased at MB Bride (123 South Urania Avenue, Greensburg; 724/836-6626).
On the Groom:
Joseph sported an Oleg Cassini tuxedo with satin-edged lapels from Tuxedo Junction (multiple locations; 800/724-1800; tuxedojunction.com).
Nearly 150 friends and family members celebrated the newlyweds’ nuptials at the Omni William Penn Hotel (530 William Penn Place, Pittsburgh; 412/281-7100). Festive decorations in hues of orange, green, and gold included satin table linens and chiavari chairs by Wedding Design North (412/267-2108; pittsburghweddingdesign.com). An orange gobo light of the couple’s monogram was also created by the bride’s mother for the dance floor.
After Jessica and Joseph entered from the balcony, guests were served their choice of black angus filet mignon with jumbo lump crab, pecan-encrusted tilapia with mango chutney, or chicken statler with goat cheese and garlic cream. Miniature bottles of white wine were handed out as favors, and baskets of green and orange flip flops were provided for the ladies so they could kick off their heels to dance.
Katherine Shaw of Trends to Traditions (412/267-2108; trendstotraditions.com) helped the couple plan their wedding throughout the year leading up to their big day. Victoria Bushmire, Katherine’s assistant, designed a delectable candy table for the event that perfectly accentuated its color scheme.
Fenoglietto’s Wedding Cakes (2955 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell; 724/335-5359, ultimateweddingcakes.com) supplied three tiers of vanilla cake decorated with white buttercream frosting, dots of icing, and orange roses.
Dreamscape, an 8-piece band offered by John Parker Bands (724/941-1111, dreamscapeband.com), performed a setlist customized by Jessica and Joseph throughout the reception.
