What's in Store: A sneak peek at what's new in and around town.
Embrace color and use it unconditionally throughout your abode. Go as far as an accent wall (three walls in my dining room are painted a rich pomegranate with the fourth wall painted creamy wheat) or keep your paint palette simpler (see pages 14-15) and strike it hot with accessories and furniture. Keep in mind a little color can go a long way; it’s a work-in-progress. Build on the love of your favorite hue; if it’s meant to permeate your home it will keep popping up in – “look-what-I-found-it-goes-perfect-against-my-pomegranate-walls” – ways. Here are a few product ideas that can pack a punch of color where you dwell.
