Giant Holiday Light Display Coming to Pittsburgh

What makes this display different is that it's all indoors.

Now that summer is nearing an end, it must be time for the retail Christmas season.

Lumaze, one of the largest indoor Christmas festivals in the world, comes to the 31st Street Studios in the Strip District this holiday season from Nov. 23 to Jan. 4.

Visitors can enjoy a walk under a million twinkling lights without the chill of the winter air. There also will be more than 100,000 square feet of illuminated structures, interactive activities, entertainment, food trucks, a festive Christmas market and a licensed bar, according to the Lumaze website

Oh, and, Santa Claus is coming to town too. Lumaze will have a fairytale theme where visitors can help Santa find his presents.

Christmas Glow, known as Lumaze in the U.S., launched in 2017 near Vancouver, Canada, and has since attracted 1.6 million guests in 11 cities across three countries, according to the website.

Season passes at $39.99 for adults and $29.99 for children and seniors and individual tickets at $22.99 for adults and $16.99 for children and seniors are available now with a summer promotional discount.
