Dekton showcases its latest surfaces while Cut & Sew Studio celebrates a new location.
Cut & Sew Studio Grand Opening
Aching to hone your sewing skills or pick up some vibrant new textiles? Look no further. Cut & Sew Studio, which offers sewing and design related classes for both children and adults, is having a grand opening celebration for its new Morningside location from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, June 4. The shop previously was located in Highland Park.
Owner Catherine Batcho is also collaborating with LOOM Exquisite Textiles, a fabric store in the Strip District, which will allow customers to purchase LOOM’s textiles and fabrics at her location in addition to learning from Cut & Sew’s classes.
The grand opening, located at 1745 and 1747 Chislett St. in Morningside, will include giveaways, goodie bags and refreshments.

Explore Dekton's New Surfaces
Get your coffee fix and satisfy your sweet tooth while getting a peek at brand new Dekton by Cosentino surfaces at “A Taste of Dekton.” The company, which produces glass, porcelain and quartz work surfaces, will be displaying its newly released Dexton XGloss series among its other latest colors and products.
Specialty coffee, liqueurs and ice cream will be prepared and served straight from chilled Dekton samples. For members of the American Society of Interior Designers, there will also be a raffle to win a trip to Spain for $25 per entry.
The event will take place from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 2 at the Cosentino Center in Freedom, Pa.
