East End Brewing Co. Releases Limited-Edition Illustration Ale

Snag a bottle of this specialty brew — created exclusively for the ToonSeum and covered in cartoon labels — while you can.

What do you get when six cartoon artists team up with East End Brewing Co.? Easy: the 2013 Illustration Ale. The carefully brewed Belgian-style variety contains a farmhouse ale yeast that livens up the rich, dark malt. East End only produced 1,600 bottles of this limited-edition beer for the ToonSeum, which will benefit from a portion of sales.

As you might’ve guessed, the cartoon artists each came up with a label concept; all designs were used — so you can pick one or get ’em all on Thursday night, when the ale is unveiled.

Can’t make it to the meet-and-greet shindig? East End Brewing Co. will sell the ale while it’s in stock.
