I’m all ears when it comes to making some extra moola in a minimal amount of time. I am, after all, a college student.

Gigwalk and EasyShift are two apps that make earning easy money, well, easy. Both apps service clients who want to know how their brands are displayed in grocery stores or retail outlets. That’s where you come in. Your assignment can be as easy as taking a picture of a product on your smartphone or answering a few simple questions about the quantity of items stocked.

I’m not the only one who thinks this is a good idea. EasyShift President David Gottlieb tells KDKA-TV that approximately 800 people in Pittsburgh have completed more than 23,000 tasks since January.

“Gigs” or “Shifts” can pay up $20. The money is deposited directly to your PayPal account.

EasyShift was created by San Francisco-based Quri, Inc. to provide brands information to manufacturing customers. “We can check the status of products and promotions in thousands of stores within hours, providing brands and retailers with real-time, actionable data and photos, which enables them to greatly improve their in-store execution and the shopper experience,"   Justin Behar, co-founder of Quri, says.
