The Ace Hotel is going to the dogs, and we mean that quite literally.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, the trendy boutique hotel in East liberty will host a “Yappy Holidays” market for pets and their owners in The Gym, aka the venue's multipurpose event and activity space.

The gathering includes a brunch for people and pups, photos with Santa “Paws,” paw painting and dog ornaments, plus shopping for you and your furry sidekick from pet-related gift vendors.

In addition to the Ace Hotel Pittsburgh, The Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center, Western PA Humane Society, Camp Bow Wow Highland Park and Petagogy are presenting the event.

A $5 donation is suggested. A portion of the proceeds goes to benefit The Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center.
