Wall art and curtains and lighting, oh my!

Home décor and gift store Kirkland’s is the latest tenant to join The Block Northway in Ross Township.

The 8,000-square-foot store, which opened July 4, will host its grand opening celebration on Saturday. Jamie Pavlot, general manager for The Block Northway, says the store opens at 9 a.m. that day.

The first 50 people in line will receive gift bags filled with goodies. There also will be a drawing for gift cards, he says.

"We are happy to welcome Kirkland’s at The Block Northway," says Frank Licata, president and principal of LRC Realty. "Kirkland’s provides a variety of unique gift shop and home décor merchandise that is different from the average home décor retailer and at great prices.”

The Block at Northway will be the national chain’s fourth location in the Pittsburgh area. The other locations are in Monroeville, Robinson and Cranberry Township.

Kirkland's joins a growing number of retailers at the revitalized mall, including The Container Store, Nordstrom Rack and, most recently, J. Crew Mercantile.
