On the Bride:
Danielle wore a strapless silk asymmetrical gown accented with lace and crystals (from The Exquisite Bride, 4353 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville; 724/327-4337, theexquisitebride.com).
On the Groom:
Single breasted, double button tuxes by Ralph Lauren were a perfect traditional touch (rented from Men’s Wearhouse, multiple locations; 800/776-7848, menswearhouse.com).
Reception:
After a sentimental ceremony, it was time for a sensational celebration at Riverside Landing by Oakmont Greek Orthodox Social Hall (12 Washington Ave., Oakmont; 412/828-4144, riversidelanding.com). The bride and groom entered to Renegade (by the Styx) with guests waving Terrible Towels—a nod to the Steelers. For 165 guests enjoyed a buffet meal including chicken and shrimp catered by Veltre's Italian Kitchen (50 Allegheny River Blvd., Oakmont; 412/828-0500).
Cake:
Prantl's signature Burnt Almond Torte was a delicious addition to dessert. Because the sugared almonds don’t make the most traditional presentation, Prantl’s (5525 Walnut St., Shadyside; 412/621-2092, prantlsbakery.com) also created a more traditional tiered cake for the bride and groom to cut.
Music:
Guests danced all night long to music spun by party-maker DJ Sam Crawford (via Party-Time Productions; 412/401-5320, partytimeprodj.com).
