Pittsburgh may have had a few brush-ins with country concerts. One of the next stars to hit town is looking to make good use of his time here.

Y108 reports that the country legend Tim McGraw will donate a new home to a local veteran when he comes to First Niagara Pavilion in August on the Shotgun Rider Tour.

The initiative is part of McGraw’s partnership with Chase and Operation Homefront, an organization that provides aid to veterans and their families. They’ve given away 108 homes since their collaboration began three years ago.

In a press release, McGraw expressed his hopes for the project, as well as how rewarding the experience has been for him.

“We want to welcome veterans home to the community they sacrificed to protect,” he says in the statement. “It’s an amazing feeling to see them receive something they so deeply deserve, and to be able to share that experience with thousands of fans each night makes me proud to be a part of this program.”
