Comeback Kid – Jung Ho Kang Returns to the Practice Field

Kang shared a video of his rehab work since suffering the knee injury that ended his season 16 games shy of the playoffs last year.

The last time most fans saw the Pirates' Jung Ho Kang, he was writhing in pain after suffering a devastating knee injury while covering second base on a double play against the Chicago Cubs last September. Up until then, Kang had done enough with his bat and glove to earn a third-place finish in National League Rookie of the Year voting.

Friday, he gave fans something to cheer about when he shared a video of himself taking grounders.

Just 50 days until the Pirates home opener. A very warm thought indeed on a cold winter's day.
