With the popularity of filters and the ease with which digital images can be edited, it’s sometimes hard to know what is real, but the team behind our fashion shoot believed that creating a real set results in a better image. During a three-day period, Bradford Mumpower, Juan Carlos Silva and Jessica Lane painted and repainted the same corner in their Lawrenceville studio to create a new set for each day of the shoot. At the end of each day, the sets were broken down and the walls, ceiling, floor and props were primed and painted a new color. The next morning, when the paint was dry, everything was rebuilt to get ready for the next model.
