Finding a Valentine’s Day-themed activity for the whole family isn’t easy on a day dedicated to romance. But on Saturday, Feb. 13, the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is hosting Hearts in the Park. The free outdoor event will occur from 4 to 8 p.m. with interactive exhibits, a pop-up store, games and even a few giveaways.

One of the main features of the celebration will be a video projection of children’s Valentine’s Day artwork and love letters onto the front of the museum. Artwork for this display can be submitted through social media by tagging @pghkids on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #heartsinthepark. Submissions will also be accepted through email at hi@pittsburghkids.org.

The event will take place entirely outdoors with social distancing and masks required. Participants may also choose a drive-through option to view the video projections and receive a take-home friendship bracelet making kit. Parking for this event will be free.
