CEREMONY
The nondenominational ceremony was held in the Great Hall room at the Hyeholde Restaurant (1615 Coraopolis Heights Road, Moon Township; 412/264-3116, hyeholde.com) and was officiated by Patricia Stetz, a good friend of the mother of the groom’s.
FLOWERS
The flowers were purchased by the couple in bulk from Joseph P. King Farm & Market (141 Kings Farm Lane, Valencia; 724/898-3487). The mother of the bride created the arrangements using a variety of late-summer wild flowers.

ON THE BRIDE
Brigette wore an ivory, A-line, strapless gown with ribbon detail around the waist and bottom hem (David’s Bridal, 7300 McKnight Rd., Ross Twp.; 412/369-7453, davidsbridal.com), with a coordinating veil detailed with ribbon, crystals and pearls.
ON THE GROOM
Stephen chose a black-on-black, Ralph Lauren Palermo stripe suit with an ivory shirt and vest to coordinate with the bride’s gown. (Tuxedo Junction, 20325 Route 19, Cranberry; 724/776-2210, tuxedojunction.com)
RECEPTION
The couple’s reception was also held at the Hyeholde in the Round Room, which is described as "a stone and glass sanctuary nestled into the hillside" and is surrounded by gardens and trees. Votive candles, a burning fireplace and grapevines lined with lights created a romantic atmosphere. The centerpieces were composed of vintage bottles with wildflowers and surrounded by votives.
CAKE
Brigette and Steve provided guests with a variety of dessert options, including burnt-almond torte, fruit tarts, tiramisu and cheese cake created by Tiffany Olden, the pastry chef at Whole Foods Market (5880 Centre Ave., East Liberty; 412/441-7960).
MUSIC
Strolling violinist Pablo Ardiles performed during the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, playing a variety of classical music and requests (booked through Steven Vance Strolling Violins; 724/444-8400, stevenvance.com). DJ Joe, also booked through Steven Vance, played a wide range of music, including the couple’s first dance to "Til Kingdom Come" by Coldplay.
