CEREMONY
The outdoor Christian ceremony was held on the back lawn of Green Gables Restaurant (7712 Somerset Pike, Jennerstown; 814/629-9201, mountainplayhouse.com). The ceremony incorporated both American and Southern Indian traditions, including the presentation of the Minnu and the Manthra Kodi.
FLOWERS
The bridal bouquet was filled with pale-pink, ivory and peach roses with lavender wax flowers. The attendants carried similar arrangements of pink and ivory roses. (Somerset Floral Co., 892 E. Main St., Somerset; 814/445-4790)

ON THE BRIDE
Amy Jo walked down the aisle wearing an ivory strapless gown by Maggie Sottero. The taffeta gown featured a corset back, a straight neckline decorated with a rouched band and diamond-shaped pearl motif embellished skirt. Henri’s Cloud Nine in (110 N. ON THE GROOM
Mathew wore a black Jean Yves tuxedo accented with a lavender vest from American Commodore Tuxedo (Eastwood Mall, 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles, OH; 330/544-2889, actux.com).
RECEPTION
Guests enjoyed American and Indian cuisine in the Tuscany Room at Green Gables Restaurant and were treated to traditional Indian wedding customs. The mother and sisters of the groom dressed the bride in a bridal sari, gold jewels and purple bangles. Also during the reception, friends of the couple performed a traditional Indian dance.
CAKE
Little Lisa’s Pastry Shoppe (1176 Kennedy Drive, Latrobe; 724/532-0566) created a square, four-tiered French-Vanilla cake with raspberry filling and chocolate- ganache icing. The cake was decorated with champagne grapes and sprigs of gladiolus from the site of the ceremony.
MUSIC
To make the reception more personal, the couple created their own iPod playlist, complete with American and Indian hip-hop songs, ’80s tunes and a surprise dance by the couple to Outkast’s "The Way You Move."
