Allegheny County to Host Drive-In Movie Nights at Two Parks

The series of free movies kicks off Friday, April 2.

Allegheny County is celebrating the beginning of spring with a Family Drive-In Movie series. For eight consecutive Friday nights, beginning April 2, you can see a drive-in movie for free at the parking lots of the Boyce Park and Settlers Cabin Wave Pools.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and the movies will begin at dusk. No one will be admitted once the movie starts. This event is free and will be first-come, first-served. All attendees must be in a vehicle. Capacity is limited to 100 vehicles per movie. Once the parking area reaches capacity, announcements will be made on the county’s Facebook page and Allegheny Alerts.

COVID-19 safety rules will be enforced.

  • Masks must be work when outside of your vehicle.
  • Observe social distancing when walking to and from the bathrooms or concessions.
  • Stay at home if you are sick or have COVID-19 symptoms.

Ekernally Yours Popcorn will be selling popcorn, candy, and more. Orders must be placed online.

Each of the movies is family-friendly.
