It was the announcement everyone expected. Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger formally ended his long and storied football career with a video message posted on social media Thursday morning.

The 11th overall pick in the 2004 draft, Roethlisberger led the Steelers to two Super Bowl titles, eight division titles and 165 regular-season victories. He finishes with the most victories of any quarterback who spent his entire career with one team.
