Adoptable and Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Barley

This sweet guy is looking for a new home and perhaps another canine companion.

Breed: Treeing Walker Coonhound mix | Sex: Male
Age: 11 years 6 months | Weight: 45 pounds
Arrived: Dec. 5, 2019

Barley is a friendly guy but can be selective about his canine friends. However, he may be able to go home with a dog sibling. He would do best in a quiet, settled home with children 13-years-old and up. Best of all, by adopting from Animal Friends, you make it possible for them to rescue and care for another pet who truly needs help. So, what are you waiting for?

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is located at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, 15237. Hours are Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
