Adoptable & Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Ms Penny

At 10-years-old, Ms. Penny may be a senior gal, but she’s also an incredibly active and energetic Labrador Retriever who loves to be out sniffing and exploring. She needs a family with children 15 and over, and it doesn’t take her long to warm up and meet new friends. Ms. Penny wants all her new family’s attention to herself, and needs to be the only animal in her new home. If you have room for an older gal with plenty of pep left in her step, Ms. Penny could be the one for you!

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is located at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, 15237. Hours are Monday-Friday from 11a.m. to 7 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
