Adoptable & Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Marigold

Marigold is a gorgeous 2-year-old Thrianta mix who has been waiting patiently at Animal Friends for her forever home.

Breed: Thrianta and Harlequin | Sex: Female
Age: 02 years 4 months | Weight: 7 pounds

Marigold spent some time in a loving foster home so we could get to know her personality better. Her foster reports that she was wonderful with her litter box, and a very clean rabbit. Though she can be a little cautious in new surroundings, once she is comfortable, Marigold blossoms into a loving and social girl who is always up for treats. She prefers pets on her terms, but is incredibly loyal once she trusts you. Marigold may be able to live with another rabbit with proper introductions, but would prefer a calmer, more settled home. She doesn’t seem to mind calm children of all ages so long as they approach her appropriately.

Each of our bunny residents has received a thorough medical examination, microchip and is spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is located at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, 15237. Hours are Monday-Friday from 11a.m. to 7 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
