Adoptable & Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Magenta

Magenta was previously adopted from Animal Friends, but found herself back with us after her family welcomed a new baby into their home. But, to help her find a loving new home, her previous family sponsored her adoption, so she’s truly priceless.

Magenta is an 8-year-old Domestic Shorthair. She can be a bit shy in new situations, but once she has a chance to adjust, she is such a sweet kitty. She is calmer girl who is searching for a patient family who will take the time to gain her trust. Magenta has lots of love to share and absolutely loves to curl up on a cozy lap after a long day.

Each of our feline residents has received a thorough medical examination, all appropriate vaccinations, FIV and FeLeuk tests, microchip and is spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is located at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, 15237. Hours are Monday-Friday from 11a.m. to 7 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our cats in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
