Adoptable & Adorable: Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Kya

Kya is a 9-year-old, Pit Bull mix. She is an incredibly sweet and friendly older gal who's ready to settle into a family she can call her own. Since she doesn't like to be alone, Kya will need a home where her human companions won't be gone for long hours.

Kya has wonderful canine manners and is gentle, affectionate and absolutely loves to play ball! She can go home with children older than 8-years-old and may enjoy living with other pets.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is located at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, 15237. Hours are Monday-Friday from 11a.m. to 7 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
