	CEREMONY
Niki and Tom married in one of the Strip District’s most recognizable places of worship: St. Stanislaus Kostka Church (57 21st St.; 412/471-4767, saintsinthestrip.org). The couple hired shuttle drivers from Pittsburgh Transportation Group (412/322-8553, pghtrans.com) to transport guests between the church and reception site; the bridal party and family enjoyed limo service from TDF Limousine (412/606-9549, apittsburghlimo.com).
	FLOWERS
Though the white and purple bouquets were lovely, the floral highlight for this wedding was a “statement piece” created by Mocha Rose Floral Design (4805 Penn Ave., Bloomfield; 412/361-4141, mocharose.com). A 5-foot matching floral arrangement was displayed during cocktail hour. Also, a 6-foot floral tree was placed outside the reception room to hold name cards for table seating.
	PHOTOGRAPHER
Tom was opposed to posed shots, so Rick Szymanski (412/607-1449, picsure.net) accommodated.
	ON THE BRIDE
Niki wore a beaded gown with a tiered skirt for her ceremony and changed into a shorter party dress later in the evening (Anne Gregory for the Bride: 2975 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont; 412/531-3160, annegregorybrides.com).
	HAIR AND MAKEUP
For makeup, Allison Roth (412/427-8078, allisonrothstudio.com) made the bride look radiant, while Eric Smith (from Eric Smith Salon, 313 S. Main St., Greensburg; 724/834-6335) styled her hair.
	ON THE GROOM
Tom wore a traditional black tux from Liberty Formals (3104 Banksville Road, Dormont; 412/561-2202, libertyformals.com).
	RECEPTION
As downtown residents, the newlyweds were just steps from home when they celebrated at the historic Renaissance Hotel (107 6th Ave.; 800/627-7468, renaissancepittsburghpa.com). The dinner menu included chicken, steak, fish and vegan options. After the reception wound down, guests continued celebrating the wedding (and the bride’s birthday) at Olive or Twist (140 6th St., downtown; 412/225-2505, olive-twist.com).
	CAKE
Niki and Tom chose the burnt-almond torte, a traditional and tasty local choice, from Prantl’s Bakery (5525 Walnut St., Shadyside; 412/692-2092, prantlsbakery.com).
	MUSIC
Jason Kendall (jasonkendallproductions.com) provided all the music, including guitar for the cocktail hour and DJ tunes when the party picked up after dinner.
