Meet Fennel!

This sweet three-year-old guy came to Animal Friends through our Humane Investigations Department. Since being in our care, we noticed him wobbling everywhere he walked so after some testing our medical team diagnosed Fennel with Myotonia Congenita – which is a hereditary neuromuscular disorder characterized by persistent contraction, particularly during muscle movement.

Because of this – Fennel is looking for a home where they will be able to monitor him and give him the assistance, he needs with using a litterbox, eating/drinking, and day-to-day activities. However, his diagnosis has not stopped him from being a loveable boy who enjoys people and attention. Fennel could also potentially live with other cats. All of our animals are altered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines before being made available for adoption.
