Summer Fridays aren’t just for the office — they’re also at The Frick.

The museum’s outdoor concert series is back for its 11th season, which kicks off June 27 with “Make Music Pittsburgh” — a program that supports music-making Pittsburghers. The event will feature The Barrels of Beethoven Ensemble. The group works to preserve the steelpan — a handmade instrument made from a steel barrel — and honor the legacy of Pittsburgh steelpan builder, tuner and player Phil Solomon.

Each Friday, the Farina Foundation will collect instruments for a donation drive. The Frick will collect nonperishable food for the Singing Winds Food Pantry.
