What You’ll Find On The Page: Matching its detail-oriented and professional planning style, bumble burgh Events Co., strives to “reflect a minimal and refined look” on its Instagram page.

“Every other week we post ‘wedding’ or ‘industry’ tips providing individuals who may be planning a wedding with some insight into best practices or ‘how-tos,’” says Karlie Lewis, co-owner of bumble burgh Events. “As you can see by our feed, we feature the couple’s wedding photos as often as possible, then we fill in the rest of the weekly posts and stories with event detail photos.”

Planning Style: “Professional, detail-oriented and process-driven,” says Lewis. “Even though the planning process itself is structured, our lead planners add a very personal, reassuring and encouraging overlay to this structure.”

Favorite Wedding Day Moment to Plan: The lead planners at the company agree that there is nothing like planning the moment the bride and groom see each other for the first time. Designing the reception space is not far behind on their list of favorites.

What You’ll Find On The Page: Focused primarily on a “fresh, elegant and inspiring” look, A & L Events page aims to speak to its demographic of clients between the age of 25 to 35 who are newly engaged.

Hoping to insert “energy and effort,” the company uses Instagram as a “method of story-telling.” The feed is filled with both personal and professional aspects of the day-to-day lives of the planning company.

Planning Style: “While we do offer planning and design packages, we ensure that there is a level of customization and personalization put into the planning experience so that our clients feel at ease and comfortable with the process,” Lauren Virgin and Antoinette Yelenic, co-owners of A & L Events, wrote in an email.

Favorite Wedding Day Moment to Plan: From a design and styling perspective, Virgin and Antoinette most enjoy designing a reception tablescape and pairing it with complementary florals.

“In the past, we’ve done escort car fixtures, photo walls and other customer creations that signify our client’s story and style.”

What You’ll Find on the Page: A “conversational, funny and personal” style. The content can be sorted into “four main brand categories: Real Pittsburgh Brides and Grooms, My Team, Design and Details and My Thoughts on the Wedding Industry,” says Heather Davis, owner and lead planner at Day of Pittsburgh.

“When you coordinate 50 weddings a season, the unique details leave an impact long after the party is over,” says Davis. “Shuffling up the [brand topics] helps keep my followers laughing, learning and getting to know Day of Pittsburgh on a personal level.”

Planning Style: “Fresh, practical and fun.”

“We nudge our couples to get married with personality!”

The company bills itself as the only planning boutique in the ‘Burgh exclusively for day-of wedding coordination.

“Our services fill the gap between hiring a full-scale wedding planner and winging it on your own,” Davis says.

Favorite Wedding Day Moment to Plan: Each wedding planned by Day of Pittsburgh follows a specific production timeline with a lead planner assigned to take control and direct the vendors, DIY decorations, cookies and other details.

“Seeing our Excel spreadsheet play out smoothly in real-time makes all of the e-mails, conversations and planning meetings so worth it. On your wedding day, it’s us behind the curtain and you in the spotlight,” says Davis.

What You’ll Find on the Page: Jennifer Pecorari, owner and creative director of Nova Lee, focuses on keeping the style of the company’s page consistent with her brand: “light and airy with a focus on ‘pretty little details’ as well broader scapes while maintaining an understated elegance that is reflective of timelessness and touches of modernity,” says Pecorari.

You’ll find a mix of ideas, advice, tips and inspiration plus personal stories and posts.

Planning Style: “Having an informal meeting while chatting over a great cup of coffee is my ideal way of getting to know my clients. Throughout these conversations, I am honing in on small nuances or big details that make them unique. All the while, I am making mental notes of what I will be using as inspiration for designing their event,” says Pecorari.

Favorite Wedding Day Moment to Plan: As a planner who likes to be hands-on and in the midst of the fast-paced environment, Percorari enjoys the collaboration, teamwork and resourceful minds that come together to problem-solve when dilemmas in planning or day-of-issues arise.

“I love to see my clients and their guests’ reactions to the details that I have thoughtfully curated from beginning to end. As their event comes to a close, I am very honored for my client’s appreciation that they chose me to execute their special day,” says Pecorari.
