For Robyn Tedder, success means the freedom to use her gifts on work that matters — and creating opportunities for other people to use theirs. That’s the ethos at the heart of Candor & Co Consulting, the early childhood social impact firm Tedder started in 2020 to help funders, school systems and mission- driven organizations build the strategies that allow early childhood education programs to thrive.
Her work with technology companies such as Duolingo on early childhood social impact strategy reflects the same commitment.
She has also shared her skills as project director for the Early Childhood Funders Alliance of Southwestern PA, and served as a steering committee member at the national level for the Alliance.
In addition, she served as a Heinz Endowments fellow through her involvement with the national Early Childhood Funders Collaborative and serving on the board for both the Early Excellence Project and the University of Pittsburgh Office of Child Development.
