Brittany Bell believes in always being the first penguin, a life motto inspired by the late Carnegie Mellon University professor Randy Pausch.

“One penguin always has to jump into the water first — to basically see if they’re going to get eaten. And then the rest of the pack will jump in after if everything is fine,” Bell explains.

She creates cutting-edge interactive environments for Deeplocal’s global technology clients including Google, Meta, TikTok, Stripe and Museum of the Future.

To help fellow women in business, she shares her expertise as a mentor with SCORE Pittsburgh, which provides free, one-on-one consulting services in southwestern Pennsylvania.
