In our October cover story, Made in Pittsburgh, we detailed the work of 50-plus companies that are creating a range of goods locally — everything from edibles to handbags.

Those very goods are highlighted in USA Love List’s lineup of “10 Things We Love Made in Pittsburgh.” USA Love List is an online magazine and shopping site dedicated to all things American-made.

Emily Walley of Minimel Design was one of the entrepreneurs we’d spotlighted. Walley uses reclaimed wood and United States-sourced metal for her one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.

“Taking inspiration from Pittsburgh’s layered architectural environment, I create colorful wooden wearables that are hand-cut and hand-screen-printed,” she said in the blog post.

Aside from Walley’s product line, other Pittsburgh items that received a shout-out include Leona’s delectable ice cream sandwiches — recently available in egg nog — and Michael Brown’s Maestro Frameworks bicycles.
