After revamping our annual Home of the Year contest, Pittsburgh Magazine asked for the region’s most outstanding new home and renovation projects for the inaugural 2018 Best of Design contest — and homeowners delivered.

The magazine was inundated with stunning entries, the most received in the contest’s history. To ensure fairness and neutrality, a panel of Cleveland-based professionals in the design and architecture industry handled the blind judging process.

Read on for this year’s winners in categories Best New Home, Best Renovation, Best New Kitchen, Best Kitchen renovation, Best Bathroom renovation and Best Outdoor Living Space. Planning to build or remodel a home in 2018? Visit pittsburghmagazine.com/bestdesign to submit your entries.
